How is everyone else handling and interpreting this?
Accessibility is complicated, and often depends on deciding on interpretations using your best judgement and reasoning. When doing this we know your first question will always be to investigate how other small publishers are interpreting things too, so you can avoid duplication of effort and share best practice. We also know that small publishers are not generally in intense competition with each other, as bibliodiversity and offering a multitude of options is part of what makes our sector strong.
So let's work together, we've collated both public work and work we have had permission to share in our Example Work from other Publishers section, which includes Accessibility Statements and Author Guidelines.
We have also described some FAQs and known complexities we have encountered here: Frequently Asked Questions, Known Complexities and Example Solutions
We would love some more examples, so if you're willing to share, please let us know.
